Mathieu St-Pierre is a Canadian experimental visual artist, specializing in the fields of video art and photography, but more specifically in glitch art. St-Pierre's passion for experimentation within a multitude of video manipulations stemmed from a lifelong passion of cinema. He is also the creator of the largest glitch art group: Glitch Artists Collective.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT

The images not only document the fragility of those virtual data, they are often capable of triggering memories and associations from real world life experience. We are consequently faced with electronic malfunctions in the realm of pixels versus the perfect imagery.
